- Thanks to some under-the-hood adjustments, special characters are now allowed in the names of projects, sections, and labels.
- New reminders Quick Add shortcut: Save yourself several taps by typing “!” in the task field to add a reminder (or several) to your time-sensitive to-do’s.
- And while we were adding the reminder shortcut, we made a few other design updates to make the whole reminder experience clearer, faster, and more intuitive.
- Plus, we’ve set out to overhaul and vastly simplify creating a filter. Just describe what you’re looking for using natural language. The new, AI-powered Filter Assist will generate the filter query for you to add directly to your Todoist.

- Drag tasks to the top of your projects. They’ll sit and stay where you dropped them, just like the good little tasks they are.
- And when you sort your tasks by priority, you can choose ascending and you’ll see your p4 tasks first or descending to see your p1 tasks first. That’s a fix as they were the opposite way before!
- Your Tasks and Productivity widgets now refresh automatically, so you can get a quick overview on what’s ahead or what you’ve accomplished over the day.
- Plus, your widgets will show your upcoming tasks instead of preemptively showing a congratulatory All done! message. Although Todoist does know that you certainly will be all done before long — because you can do whatever you put your mind to!
